Brandon Burkes had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the second inning, singled in the seventh inning, and tripled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Kyer Vega recorded his first win of the year for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
Derek Meyer couldnt get it done on the rubber for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
