The Las Vegas Train Robbers (12-20) outlasted the White Sands Pupfish (20-13) at Griggs Park 12-7 on Monday after 10 innings.

Tyler Shannon got on base five times in the game for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He scored four runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Aaron Olivas racked up two RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Steven Taft improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed one run over one inning. Taft struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Eli Nichol (0-1) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
